The Topanga Farmers Market donates a percentage of our profits to an amazing organization working to bring access to organic food in South LA.
SÜPRMARKT provides 100% organic produce to make great health and healing available in the communities which need it most. Since its inception in July 2016, SÜPRMARKT has provided more than 100,000 pounds of organic fruit, veggies, and staples affordably in South LA, a community which has 1.3 million residents but only 60 grocery stores. They aim to shatter longstanding barriers to health in low income communities by making organic food accessible to all and educate to make organic living feel easy. We are partnered with Food Forward to collect unsold quality produce at the end of the market and donate it to local hunger relief partners.
Donation drives for household items and clothing will be collected at the market to support the work of other non-profits including Celebration Nation that provides services to farm workers and their families and the Topanga Women’s Circle that sets up transitional housing for families in need.
